Police Recruits from Metropolitan and country Folies Forces.

The following draft notification is submitted in substitution for that of 6th February, 1947.

"11 The memorandum dated 6th February, 1947, on the subject of terms of service for Inspector of Recruits in the U.K., is cancelled and the following substituted,

There are three separate categories of appointment

(a) Metropolitan Folice cases

(b) Casas where men have resigned from their

home Police Forde

(c) Case where an officer is on secondment by

special agreement.

The revised letter of appointment covers category (a), in case of (b) the officers concerned have definitely severed their connection with the Home Police and forfelted such pension rights as they may have acquired in the U.E. Category (c) is self explanatory",
